Care for patients ages 8 and up, in the same office as the rest of the family
At Kingston Village Dentistry, we see patients ages 8 and older. That means your older kids and teens can visit the same downtown Conway office as you, with the same team and on the same schedule. Many families book back-to-back visits so everyone is done in one trip.
Dr. Joshua Hudson and Dr. Cole Prosser take the time to explain what they’re doing and why. They help kids build habits that carry into adulthood, and they make every visit feel relaxed.
Does your child need to be 8 to visit?
Yes. Our practice sees patients ages 8 and up. If your child is younger, we’re happy to recommend a pediatric dentist in the Conway area. When they turn 8, we’d love to welcome them to Kingston Village.
Dental care for kids and teens
- Checkups and cleanings: Twice-yearly visits to catch problems early and keep smiles healthy.
- Dental sealants: A thin protective coating on the back teeth to help prevent cavities during the cavity-prone school years.
- Fluoride treatments: A quick treatment that strengthens enamel.
- Tooth-colored fillings: Natural-looking, mercury-free fillings if a cavity does show up.
- Emergency care: Prompt help for chipped teeth, toothaches, and sports injuries.
- Sports mouthguards: Custom-fit protection for young athletes.
- Orthodontic guidance: We keep an eye on bite and alignment as permanent teeth come in and can refer you to an orthodontist when the time is right.
Building good habits early
The years between 8 and 18 matter for your child’s smile. Permanent teeth are coming in, wisdom teeth start developing, and kids start taking over their own brushing and flossing. We use each visit to coach them on technique, talk about snacks and sports drinks, and answer their questions directly, so they feel ownership of their own oral health.
What to expect at the first visit
Your child’s first appointment includes a thorough cleaning, an exam, and any needed X-rays. We’ll walk you both through what we find and recommend next steps. A parent or legal guardian must accompany patients under 18 and complete the new patient forms. You can download the forms ahead of time from our New Patients page.
